Summary

Mr. Trinter graduated summa cum laude from The College of New Jersey with a major in music. He taught in public schools before attending the Rutgers School of Law- Newark. At Rutgers, Mr. Trinter was the Senior Notes Editor of the Rutgers Law Record and worked in the Community Law Clinic. Mr. Trinter graduated in 2005, passed the bar examination, and now practices in New Jersey State courts, as well as in the federal courts of the District of New Jersey and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Trinter began his practice of law in the field of education and construction law prior to moving to a litigation firm, at which he practiced in the areas of liability, bodily injury, construction, employment, worker’s compensation and toxic torts. Mr. Trinter then worked as staff trial counsel for an insurance company where he focused primarily on bodily injury, liability and asbestos cases before moving to a practice which centered on public entity litigation. Mr. Trinter joined Kelso & Burgess in 2017 and continues to focus on public entity law in the areas of liability, bodily injury and employment litigation, which includes claims of discrimination, harassment, and other civil rights violations.
